Samantha Akkineni is one of the top actresses in the south industry and every Indian loves to watch her films. Starting from commercial films, Samantha started to do many powerful roles from where her credibility as an actor role enhanced. Today her popularity demands her big-budgeted films in Bollywood. Recently, we have seen her in “The Family Man 2” where her performance touched everyone's heart. In this blog, I am going to tell some unknown facts about Samantha Akkineni.
Samantha was born in Chennai on 28th April 1987. She has two elder brothers also. She has done B.Com Graduation and wanted to go to Australia to pursue her studies but lack of savings won't let that happen. She always thought of doing an accountant job but her destiny drags her in some other way.
During Graduation, Samantha used to participate in every function and performance and from there a modeling agency spotted her talents and approached her. Then she started part-time modeling and many advertisements. Later many film industries approached her and from there, her career begins.
Cinematographer Ravi Verman got impressed after watching her ads, he cast her in the “Moscowin Kaveri” movie. Then she was cast in “ Ye Maya Chesave” movie. She was selected after 50 female was shortlisted in the audition. Later she was awarded for the role she played in this movie.
Coming to her acting inspiration, she got inspired by Hollywood legendary actress, Audrey Hepburn.
She then worked with Mahesh Babu in the film “Dookodu”. Mahesh Babu is one of the fine actors whose film has a very good success rate. This also left a great impact on Samantha's career. Her style, her looks, her acting talents make her career more strong and after that, she got many opportunities.
Then she was cast in “Jaanu”, “Super Deluxe” etc. In “Super Deluxe” her role was very bold but she took it as a challenge and portrait very beautifully.
Samantha got a great appreciation from the audience after watching “Makkhi”. This movie is my personal favorite.
Now she got one of the best projects “ The Family Man 2” where her performance is tremendously good. She really feels honored to work with Manoj Bajpayee Sir and never thought she will be cast in this web series. Her role is really different from what she has been doing till today.
Many people have criticized her previously for her roles but she stood steady and done her job by taking each and every opportunity. Now she takes selective scripts which she found a little bit challenging or different.
