Stay Healthy In Summer

Eat light, small and frequent meals. Heavy meals with large amount of carbohydrates and fat give rise to a lot of heat in the bodym Focus fresh on fruits and vegetables that have hight water content - such as Orange's, watermelons,etc.., Protect your vision from the harsh sunlight at work and at play, wear protective eyewear. Alcohol, fizzy drinks and coffee all can dehydrated quickly. If at all possible, try to avoid these beverages. Keep yourself well hydrated by drinking Al least 2 to 3 litres of water ever day. Restrict outdoor activities. Avoid road side foods because road side foods may nee contaminated and may lead to food borne illness. Wear light colour clothes and fabrics like cotton and linen. When you are outside, use proper covering for your mouth, ears and nose to shield yourself from hot winds. Use a hat or umbrella for shade and wear sun glasses to protect your eyes. 

 Apply a good water proof sunscreen to all exposed parts of your body and reapply it every three to four hours to ensure that your skin remains protected. Wash your face often or use tissues to wipe a sweaty face to avoid acnes. Use natural face packs with aloe vera gel or sandalwood powder to soothe the skin. Some of the symptoms of sunburn include red or reddish skin, mild dizziness and fatigue. To avoid yourself from sunburn, apply a sunscreen lotion on the exposed body parts 20 minutes before heading in to the sun. During summer, skin rash is a common skin problem for adults, children and all. This typically happens when an individual sweats too much. Bath often, change your clothes often and avoid wearing tight cloths. 

Summer foods - Refreshing, juicy watermelon is one of the best hydrating-summer food. Curd and butter milk help you remain cool in the summer heat. Gooseberry- it is rich source of vitamin C and fibre. Tender coconut water - an ideal energy drink contains vitamins, minerals, calcium, potassium and magnesium in their natural form. Iced Tea - is is rich in flavonoids which make your bones, teeth and gums healthy. Sprouts - They are easy to digest and contains high level of water and nutrients.

Staying healthy in summer makes an individual to feel happy. So each person must take care of their health carefully during summer.  Crack the summer with health tips and stay cool…!!!
