“Nature with it's infinite variety of flora and fauna is a God's gift to Mankind”

We live in a stressful world where there is competition and comparison every which way. We need our own happy place to let loose and be our own self.

Garden is a place where nature erases your anxiety and negativity. But garden is a luxury for many of us. It is a misconception that to create a proper garden more space is required.  It may be true in an aspect, it is much like real estate. People live in a 2400 sq ft luxury house, so do they in a studio bedroom with 5 roommates.

Creating a space for garden is much like that. Either you have an empty plot of land for dedicated garden or you create your own happy  garden in your utility area or balcony or even in your bedroom table.

To create your own happy place all you need is a pot of indoor plant. Having a plant is like having a pet. You talk to it, care for it, joke with it. In return it gives you peace of mind and oxygen to breathe. It cleans the air of toxins and increases humidity and quality of oxygen in the air.

Growing herbs like coriander and mint gives you a fresh breath of air and also seasoning to your food obviously. Coriander, mint and lemon juice is an antioxidant. It is loaded with vitamin C and gives a cleansing feel to your body.

Keeping a flowering plant is like adding beauty to your thoughts. The moment you see the flowers is like magic. The colors from white to deep red, blue and purple give a sense of pride and happines when you look at  them. The flowers attract pollinators like small insects and bees and even small birds.

Whatever the negative thoughts or stress or anxiety maybe, Nothing can stand in front of the beauty of nature. If you are sharing your room, sharing the care for plants create a bond and might pave way for a lasting friendship if you have a like minded person as a roommate.

Many studies suggest that having a flowering plant in shared spaces avoids conflicts between residents. People working a high stress job tend to relax when they have a plant at home. Productivity of an employee increases if there is an indoor plant placed next to them in an office setup.

Look deep into the nature and you will understand everything better.

Let's create our own Happy Garden!
