Here is a list of beautiful hamlets and villages of Uttarakhand where you can spend some quality time with nature. SAVE IT
Uttarakhand is the 27th state of India. This state was found on 9 November 2000. This state is the major place for Hindu pilgrims. Rushikesh, Kedarnath temple of lord shiva are most famous pilgrims as well as tourist attractions. but there are even some small villages which are beautiful as foreign places.
The First village we are going to see is Kausani Village. Kausani is a hill station and village located in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. A scenic splendour 300km wide view of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda devi and Panchchuli. Also, plenty of trekking trails surrounds the Kausani village.
2. Chopta
Chopta is a beautiful village and it is a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state of India. Chopta is also Known as the Mini Switzerland of IndiaChopta village gets covered in snow during winter months and once its get covered with snow the time is perfect for snow trekking. There are many popular treks here like Tunganath, Devariya-tal and Chandrashilla. N-Number of treks cut through the forests of Deodar and pine trees.
3. Mana
Mana is called as the last village of India after few miles of Mana Tibet starts. The Mana village have a great mythological importance about Pandavas. It was said the Pandavas had to cross this village to make their way to Heaven.
4.Kalap
Kalap village is the upper Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state. A trek of kalap through grassland and jungles will take you to postcard-perfect village. This village admires the unique Garhwali architecture & rich Garhwali Cuisine. Live the mountain village life.
5.Pangot
This village is situated at 16kms from Nanital, and this is the favorite spot for bird-watchers. Pangot village is home for more than 500 species of birds that even includes Himalayan birds incredible scenery brimming with pine, ook, and rhododendron forests.
6.Khati
If you like to spend some peace and quiet time between the mountains then i think Khati is the village you should visit. Khati is the last inhabited village on this trek. The stone house in Khati are one more beautiful attraction to see.
