Traditional Dress I am going to start my journey with a Traditional Dress Here women wear a loose Salwar Kameez on the other hand men wear Kurta Pajama during winter Men a long coat known as Pheran which is a long overcoat with patches and embroidery work whose fabric largely depends on the weather with skullcaps wears by both men and women, this traditional dress truly represents as a symbol of their culture
Dance and Music of Kashmir like the Dance of every state in the country elegant is the first word that comes to everyone’s mind a wide range of dance forms has witnessed the state perform feet tapping music including styles like Ghazals and Sufis and instruments like Dumru, Sitar and Nagara. Primarily done on occasions like Weddings, Parties, Festivals, and other celebrations
Kashmiri Cusine Its time to taste the rich food of the state have all Varieties in both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian some of the popular tastes of the state are Rajmah, and Methi Keema all these dishes are prepared using fresh vegetables a fine combination of spices makes mouth-watering taste. As Kashmiri are hugely popular for their hospitality they welcome their guest with hot tea or Kahwa and this meal is incomplete without Kashmiri pulao and Hak or Karam is one of the popular dishes of the region
Festivals The culturally rich state of Kashmir is also known as a land of festivals. Holi and Shikara festivals are hugely popular in the state all these festivals are hugely popular in the state as they present the joyous nature of Kashmiri’s they sing, dance, enjoy and come together to celebrate Bahu Mela, and Jhuri Mela are some of the main attractions of the celebrations. The day also marks an auspicious occasion and has its origin in Mythology
Tourism If we talk about Tourism J & K is a place that has no places to explore located in the beautiful mountains of the Himalayas a location full of stunning mountains, wonderful monasteries, blue lakes, rivers, woods, and states deep connection with spiritual pilgrims like Vaishno Devi, Amarnath for adventures lovers sports like Trekking, Skiing, and River Rafting also natural attractions like Dal Lake, Gulmarg, and Kashmir Valley are some of the worth watching places of the J & K state
