Fruits are well known for its healthy and nutritious benefits but how many of us like to eat healthy food? We only prefer the foods that causes us to salivate and give pleasure to the taste buds. Here are some benefits of fruits :

  • Fruits are great source of vitamins and minerals.
  • They are rich in fiber.
  • They provides a varying range of health boosting antioxidants.
  • They help in preventing various health diseases.

Each fruit have its unique characteristics and benefits. Some of them are discussed below:

MANGO

Mango are rich in a potent antioxidant mangiferin. It protect our the body against various serious diseases like heart diseases, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes type 2, etc. MANGO contain high amount of fiber which helps in maintaining bowel movements and keep digestive system on track. It is also a great source of potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin E and vitamin K.

BANANA

Banana is well known for abundant source of potassium content. Banana is also rich in vitamin B6, vitamin C, magnesium, etc. They are also rich source of fiber which help in preventing constipation and promotes growth of good bacteria in gut.

APPLE

Apple is the most famous fruit amongst all of them. It is great source of both soluble and insoluble fibre which helps in maintaining blood sugar level and promote good digestion. Apple's are rich in vitamin C and polyphenols. Polyphenols are found just below the skin of the apple.

ORANGE

Oranges are abundant source of vitamin C. They are also rich in potassium, fiber, vitamin B, folate, polyphenols, etc. It also provides a good amount of antioxidants.

LITCHI

Litchi is high in vitamin C, potassium, fiber, etc. They provides polyphenols which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. (I personally like litchi the most)

WATERMELON

Watermelon is a good source of antioxidants, potassium, lycopene, vitamin A, vitamin C, beta carotene, magnesium, etc. It is high in lycopene which helps in reducing effect of an inflammation and provides protection against ill effects harmful sun rays. It has high water content which keeps the body hydrated all day.

GUAVA

Guava is known for rich source of vitamin C. It has great amount of lycopene content. It also contains antioxidants like flavonoids and beta carotene.

Intake of fruits should be in moderate amount. Excess of their intake can be harmful for body.

So, enjoy the healthy benefits of fruits with various range of colour and taste.
