On September 18, 2016, four armed militants attacked the brigade headquarters in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, in the early hours of the morning.

19 soldiers were killed in their sleep.

In response to this, Indian troops entered Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and destroyed their camps.

An event known as 'Surgical Strike' was widely talked about worldwide.

It is surprising that the film is director Aditya Dhar's first film. Because this is not a typical romantic or masala film.

However, he has done so well that it does not seem like the first film.

The main character Vicky Kaushal's body language is good but the facial expressions do not justify the character or satisfy me.

Something is missing.

Alzheimer's
Vicky Kaushal's mother is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

People who suffer from this disease will immediately forget what was said, they will walk somewhere by themselves, forget where they are and who they are.

Vicky Kaushal will resign from his job to take care of him but the Army will retain him by transferring him to his area.

Surgical strike
It is Vicky Kaushal who will lead the surgical strike and bring back all of the Indian Army Task Force without a single casualty.

We only know that the surgical strike took place but the film explains the plans and difficult circumstances behind it.

In Pak Occupied Kashmir, they enter early in the morning and threaten to attack every place.

We are proud to see such military incidents of our country as we have seen real military incidents only in Hollywood movies.

The interlude twist was quite interesting but predictable. In the end, I half guessed and the rest I didn't expect. Everyone in the theater enjoyed it.

Now a days address certificate fraud has increased, even though it is not so easy to give a fake address and buy a sim, they are doing it.

Gautham Menon as a police officer who discovers the theft.

He appeared in minor roles and played the main role to perfection. The role of police officer is well suited.

Especially, the final half will keep everyone on edge.

The film, made on a budget of ₹25 crore, has grossed approximately ₹360 crore. I recommend everyone to watch.
