Hi everyone
Today my blog is about vitamin A deficiency.
Vitamin A (retinol, retinoic acid) is a nutrient important to vision, growth, cell division, reproduction and immunity. Vitamin A also has antioxidant properties.
Vitamin A deficiency is a nutritional deficiency disease that can be controlled. Vitamin A can prevent blindness. The cause of this defect is gerophthalmia. Xerophthalmia is a condition in which the retina appears dry and scaly. Eventually wakefulness can lead to dry vision. This deficiency appears if there is not enough vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A deficiency often occurs when children suffer from diarrhoea, respiratory disease, measles, enteritis, etc. This deficiency lowers the immune system and causes many diseases to reoccur. As a result, children suffer from diseases. Here you can see the symptoms of vitamin A deficiency and how to treat them.
The vitamin A test measures the level of vitamin A in the blood. Blood is drawn from a vein (venipuncture), usually from the inside of the elbow or the back of the hand. A needle is inserted into the vein, and the blood is collected in an air-tight vial or a syringe. Preparation may vary depending on the specific test.
Symptoms of the disease
•Vitamin A deficiency affects many tissues in the body, but mainly affects the eyes and causes blindness.
The surface of the iris is dry and thick. Lesions may affect a specific part or the entire iris. This can cause permanent or permanent blindness.
Night eye
Eye disease is the first symptom of vitamin A deficiency.
• Night eye is the inability to see in the dark. Cannot see in dark areas even during the day.
Flowering
• Even though warts vary in size or shape, they are similar in appearance.
• They appear as foam on the retina. This is another symptom of xerophthalmia.
Dryness and soreness
The iris becomes dry. If left untreated, the iris may become dry and ulcerated within hours.
Karotto Malaysia
• If the corneal ulcer does not heal. Water drains from it and swells. This is what we call Karotto Malaysia.
• Carotid malaysia eventually causes a permanent hole in the iris. Early treatment can prevent scarring and vision loss.
Prevention
Foods rich in vitamin A include leafy greens. Yellow nuts, fruits, carrots, pumpkin, mango, papaya. Legumes, cheese, yogurt, butter, eggs, liver, fish, palm oil. Breast milk for babies etc.
Note
For this, you should get used to eating foods rich in vitamin A. School-going children, pregnant and lactating mothers should consume vitamin A-rich foods regularly.
