Art therapy, which involves the use of a wide variety of creative techniques, is an expressive therapy, or a creative art therapy, using your emotions and thoughts as a means of communication, through non-verbal messages, metaphors, symbols, and beliefs of the unconscious mind.

You do not need to be a person with special artistic abilities, because the therapeutic process is not about the artistic value of the work, but rather, about increasing emotional well-being.

Coloring, drawing, painting, handwriting ... can reduce stress levels, release emotions, explore your creative side, and give you a feeling of freedom, allowing you to paint and draw whatever comes to mind.

Many different cultures have incorporated the use of sacred symbols and drawings into their healing processes.

Margaret Naumburg, the mother of art therapy, believed that once the symbolic expression of a person's mental state was combined with the cognitive and verbal aspects of the experience, healing could take place.

Doodling helps you focus by keeping your mind from wandering. It allows you to be creative giving you the freedom to use different patterns, shades, and shapes. A free technique (therapeutic meditative activity) that will help you reduce stress.

It is a kind of meditative art, like creating mandalas, entangle pattern art…. Inducing relaxation has an impact on stress reduction, self-control, and mood. It is not subject to a particular theme, it can be fun, meaningless, or meaningless, definitely anything, although it is not uncommon for repetitive or intricate patterns to be performed.

Doodling, which requires no special artistic talent or skills, helps increase adult creativity, reduces anxiety and stress levels. Drawing, and art in general, can take your mind off your stressors, at least for a few minutes.

Doodling can reveal what's going on in your unconscious mind, help you focus, improve your memory and attention, and reduce stress by raising your energy to a positive state.

The beauty of nature is represented in the form of doodle art. The natural beauty and behavior of an insect can be seen in this art. Doodling is a fun which can be created by various patterns and  colors.

It's fun and can be done anywhere. all you need are paints, pen or markers, sheets or notebooks (scribble journal), intuition to guide you and expect unexpected results. As you can see, there are many reasons to consider art as a tool to reduce stress, even for those who do not consider themselves, especially artists.

Allow yourself a few minutes each day to let yourself flow, and scribble when you need ideas or answers.
