Writing this write-up with the tid-bit knowledge that I have, and if anything is wrong, I would seek forgiveness.

The Cycle of Life and Death is a very very long cycle. Human Beings are the most intelligent amongst the living beings, but taking birth as human beings or as animals depends on our Karmas in the lifetime. Because in every living entity, there is a Soul. So, it is possible to take rebirth as other living entities in the cycle of life and death also. We are all part and parcels of God.

Karmic Memory: Karmic Memory refers to the Desires and Manifestations. Desires are from the Soul level. And, Manifestation refers to how these desires happens or manifests in the Lifetime. The term Purva Punya (Blessings one brings from past lives) is related to Karmic Memory. 

Karma in Renunciation: Karma in Renunciation means when one performs his/her Karmas but he/she is not attached to it, i.e., inwardly he/she is detached, but outwardly performing/doing the Karmas.

Where there is Soul, there is Consciousness. We are not this material body, but, we are Spirit-Soul. Mind and Soul cannot be studied as separate entities. When the Soul leaves the body, after the demise of a person, the Mind also travels alongwith the Soul, to attain a new body. Since, there are 10 dimensions on Earth, hence, there are 10 phases of the Soul in the process of leaving the body. Phases are different from the Dimensions. But, I don't have knowledge regarding these 10 phases, to be honest. And, also upto the 5th phase, Resurrection is possible, because 5th Dimension is Time which is Eternal, and all other dimensions after the 5th dimension exists because of Time.

If any person commits Suicide, then the Soul stays Suspended, i.e., not free from the cycle of life and death and also not taking rebirth, that is why no person should commit suicide, and we should try to give Hope to those who are in Despair; As Hope Sustains Life.

If any person, attains Moksha (Salvation), then the Soul gets free from the cycle of rebirth, and stays as a Spark of Light which we cannot see with our eyes.
