The problem of child rights violations is widespread throughout India. Despite the fact that many people are enforcing the law , the problem still exists. The negative consequences of these issues have an impact on our country's growth, development, and advancement. Millions of children's are affected by issues such as violence, poverty, a lack of primary education, a lack of primary healthcare, sexual abuse and child labour.
Every year , thousands of innocent children are subjected to forced trafficking, forcing them to live a life of physical abuse and torture . The violence against children is unbated . Millions of children under the age of 14 labour in factories, stores, glass blowing industry, workshops and other places. And they are compelled to work in the most unsanitary conditions possible. India has approximately 82 Lakh Child Labourers 9aged between 5 to 14 years), according to census data. To fulfill the goals of growth, progress and advancement, our country requires an increasing amount of skilled labour ,Not Child Labours.
Here are several concerns that we consider as violation of children's rights, are discussed below:
1.CHILD MARRIAGE:
Child marriage denies girls their rights, causing them to drop out of schools, exposing them to violence (sexual, physical, and emotional) and putting them into situations that their young minds and bodies are unprepared for, such as motherhood.
2.CHILD LABOUR:
Children right to be safeguarded from economic exploitation and from performing any task that is likely to be hazardous or interfere with a child's education and overall development are violated by child labour.
3. LACK OF ACCESS TO EDUCATION:
Every child is entitled to an education, and learning is an essential for growth. It's also one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty and ensure that children are given the tools they need to achieve their full potential. Long distances to school, a shortage of adequate washrooms and early pregnancy are just a few of the obstacles that many girls experience in getting an education.
4. LACK OF ACCESS O PROPER HEALTHCARE:
Furthermore, pregnancy and delivery problems are the top cause of death for females under the age of 15. Girls have various particular challenges to exercising their rights to education . The most prevalent impediment is gender norms and inequalities.
There are more violations apart from these. We all have to look after this matter urgently and have to take adequate measures properly.
