A boy Shivananinthan (Ponvel) lives with his mother and elder sister in Puliyankulam, Tuticorin district. The only thing he hates in life is carrying bananas. A poor family, no father, forced by his mother to pay off a loan, he goes to carry bananas with great sadness during school holidays. So he thrashes in pain at night. Lightening his 'heavy' life carrying bananas is Miss Poongodi (Nikila Vimal). In this way the black pages and some 'colorful' pages in between take on a sardonic life.
Meanwhile, in the same town, Gani (Kaliyarasan), a banana-carrier, gathers people and fights for a wage hike. On the one hand the employer agrees to it and on the other puts it at risk. What is it? The screenplay is about whether Shivananandan got freed from carrying banana.
Director Mari Selvaraj has given a Chera Goth 'emotional' work of moments of extreme crying and happy memories of her life. The film chronicles the lives of women who give their lives to carry bananas for a meager wage and the impact it has on the boy's psychology. On the other hand, the screen language of the film, which appeals to mass taste, gets attention rather than melting down the tear-jerking scenes.
Kamal references the friendship between Shivanandhan and his friend, Rajini, saying, “Nammurla Rajini film is running. The opening of the film is enjoyable with the dialogue “Kamal film Enga Odutu” and the related scenes, 'Poove Unakaga', 'Priyamudhan' posters and the kerchief scene. It is admirable that he handled the crush of the season on his favorite teacher very carefully and gracefully without being vulgar or exaggerated in any way. The student said to Nikila Vimal, "Teacher, you were as beautiful as our mother, Netu. The verse that says "like a sister today" is beautiful! On the other hand, another romance was channeled through 2 retro songs with a mellow feel and a great cinematic experience.
The work that comes on the screen also arouses our interest.

The film vividly portrays the pain of the working people like the life of serfdom, the struggle for one rupee wage hike, the loss caused by it, the deceit of the middlemen, the communist and Ambedkar codes. Even after the end of the film, you can feel the impact of the final scene that binds and shakes everything. The touch of Mari Selvaraj's 'Uruvaka' scenes abounds in the film
