Hello and welcome back to everyone who has been reading my blogs and i hope you all are doing good and had a good day. This blog is continuation of my previous blog How to build a strong resume. From the title you all must be aware that this is a compilation and a part two of the topic. So if you are reading this then make sure you read the previous blogs too because other starting important information is in those blogs.

As i said there are previous blogs i have covered a few headers of Resume details like Name, contact, personal summary and educational qualification.

So now moving forward to other details.

5 Additional educational qualification: This column is to be filled by those who are pursuing any professional courses apart from their normal/ regular degree. Just for example if i am. Bcom student and i am pursuing Ca as well. So u would mention the details of the same. Here you need to mention which level you are appearing for and which you have cleared till now along with marks and proofs.

6 Work experience: Now this is very crucial part of your Resume as it will show your past working experiences and knowledge, skills, behaviour everything. Here the company people will look into your past records and ask for a recommendation from your previous work place. Any past internships and volunteering work is added here.

Now what is to be included here is.

Timeline: when did you start.  Year and month.

For whom: Name of the organization, details of employer if needed, address of the company etc.

Job role: who were you in that organization. What were you major day to day responsibilities. If you were not assigned any designation when on internships you may write intern, or if you were assigned that the specific executive you must write.

Projects handled: if any projects were handled by you then you can mention them. This will show your leadership skills and experience to the interviewers.

7 Co- curriculum activities: If you have been associated with any college/University committees and group then you can share you expirence and knowledge about that.

If any achievements are there. Like winning a competition, fest ,sport event or any other events than you can mention that too.

8 Additional information: An additional information about your self can be added which mentions about your other interests, hobbies, languages known etc.

These are the inclusions for the headers under resume. There is a slight sequence difference between the resume of education related and resume of work. You can the blog β€œ difference between Resume and Cv” for the sequence.

Thankyou
