This blog is inspired by the speech of our University vice chancellor and IAS officer. It was a good interactive session with him. This one hour of perfect guidance left me out to think on many topics. Hs started off with career guidance and took us through philosophical thoughts.
The end of the session was done by an interaction between us on the topic that “How important is money for us”?
He asked, "If I give you all a lot of money, will you always satisfied? He also asked that how much money will make you happy in your life?
Students present in the seminar hall shared their thoughts, One of them replied sir Rupees 2 lacs per month, One said sir rupees 1 crore a year and the most interesting answer came from one of our seniors as he demanded for Rupees Hundred crore and this will be enough to satisfy him.
Now our VC sir replied, "The amount for everyone will differ as everyone has different satisfaction level, people differ in desire and aspirations, but money will never make you fully satisfied or keep you happy all your life.
Rather money will help you buy items that you desire. You will buy luxurious items, materials to ease your life, good food, expensive clothes and other items. Yes money too has its own importance but considering it as a reason of living happy is not ok as there are many other reasons that will help us live our life happy and attaining higher satisfaction level.
In short, money will give you materialistic satisfaction for sometime, the time when you will get used to the products you will get bored of it and think of other items.
We can't be happy in life just with the help of money, we will require relationships, we will need people to talk to us, take care of us, who help us live our life. We will need friends, we will need parents, we will need partner to share your feelings so that we live our lives happily.
The real satisfaction comes in making people smile, taking care of them, sharing love and helping them live their lives happily.
Rather than considering money as the lone reason for living a life happy weekend spend time building relationships making communications figuring out problems helping out people and attaining satisfaction. This was all about this blog. Thank you for reading❤️
