We humans have been living on this planet for so many thousands of years but still we do not give up the urge of living …..
Don't you think that there must be a reason behind it. Lets try to find the reason.
Story of Sisyphus
There is a famous tale of Sisyphus and we have often seen the symbolic picture of a man pushing a huge stone and trying to take that to the top of the mountain. Actually it has been said that God had told a man called Sisyphus to push the huge stone to the top of the mountain with all his force and efforts. Sisyphus did so and when he reached the top of the mountain the stone kept rolling down. This way Sisyphus kept on taking the stone on the top of the mountain and the stone kept rolling down.
From this story of Sisyphus, this is a very remarkable observation that we humans are never tired of living .No matter whatever distress or trouble we are given, our natural tendency is to fight against all odds and stand upright amidst all odd situations.
It might seem to be very challenging for us at times, but these challenges are the forces which drives us crazy to live our lives ceaselessly.
There has been so many world wars and pandemics previously, there were so many issues in the society where riots and military actions were at their heights. But after all these severe cases there was a constant urge for we humans to lead a life. We always dream of living our life in a better way…better than previous years…!!
Its our natural tendency to forget the worst and start fresh. No matter how many times our falls from the mountain top, we are like Sisyphus always. Trying to take the stone at the top of the mountain.
And that's the positivity within us humans that keeps us rolling on and on.
If this was not our nature then the human civilization would become like dinosaurs ,…extinct….!!
Humans try to adapt to the adverse situations that they are put to. We do not know when our civilization would come to an end. We also do not know if some other better species will take our place and replace us or not. It may or may not. But the positive part of the story is that we never give up.. …
And we shouldn't ever give up…!!
Dont you agree???
