We all know that Good Friday is celebrated throughout the world by the Christian community. Now this is not only constricted to the Christian community anymore. Even people from all community remember Lord Jesus Christ on this day because of his life sacrifice for the good of common people. Good Friday is the day when Jesus Christ was crucified.

If we get into the actual story about Jesu's death we get to know that the cause of his death was one his very own disciple who betrayed this Holy soul. I would not like to talk about how and why Jesus was killed. Today I would focus on what we have learned from His crucification.

When Jesus was crucified on the cross, all He did was ask from the almighty to forgive the people who were crucifying Him. Because He said that these people did not know what they were doing. Only God can think of such great forgiveness. In this world of darkness, we are committing sins every now and then. We are blaming others, telling lies, cheating our partners, torturing the weak and so many other things. But we never think about forgiveness, about helpfulness, thankfulness.

These are those teachings which Lord Jesus has taught the entire world.

Whenever somebody does wrong to us, do we ever think of forgiving them. No we never do that. We complain and try to take revenge . We never try to understand that what is done cannot be undone. But only if we could forgive the wrong doers we can start fresh and have no dark regrets in our mind and soul.

Forgiveness is the teaching that Jesus Christ taught the whole world through His life sacrifice. He was badly punished and tortured by the people of the society about whom Jesus only wanted to do good.

Forgiveness is the most divine quality which we need to practice from small instances. We complain about small small matters. We find issues with our parents, siblings, friends, husbands, wives, relatives, neighbors and all around us. We put all sorts of blames to them but are they crucifying us? Are they torturing us to that level to which Jesus Christ was subjected to. Even then He had forgiven the ones who did wrong to them.

We cannot forgive others for simple matters. What would we do if we were crucified like Jesus??

Would we not end up uttering the worst curse??

There lies the greatness of a soul. If we can forgive like this Divine soul, only then can we become as pure like Him.

On this ‘Good Friday’ let us all pray to Christ to bless us with his divine quality of forgiveness.
