Day 7-29th December 2020

This day was fully dedicated for our road trip from Manali to Chandigarh . On the way to Chandigarh we could see some exciting views of lovely colourful hot baloons. People were trying these baloon rides from there . Then there was this lovely paragliding rides. We could not go for the rides because we had to reach Chandigarh that day itself . We reached Chandigarh at about 12 p.m. in the night.

                                                                      Our hotel was a beautiful relaxing hotel which offered us hot chicken rice and ice-cream at that hour of the day. 

Day 8- 30th December

The very next morning that is on 30th December we had a lovely breakfast in our hotel and then we went for the local side-seeing in Chandigarh. 

                   In Chandigarh we saw the Sukna lake and the Rock museum.The rock museum is a very exciting place where you will experience great work made out of used stones. You must check out this museumif you go to Chandigarh. Then we headed for Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. On the way we enjoyed “ Makke ki roti” and “ Sarso da Saag” 

We reached Mcleodganj at about 8.30 pm in the evening.This is a hill station. The upper part of Dharamshala is Mcleodganj. The scenery of lower Dharamshala from Mcleodganj is a wonderful view to cherish. We had a cup of hot coffee in the cool weather as we were having a beautiful night view of lower Dharamshala from our hotel balcony.

Day 9- 31st December

Bhagsunath temple and waterfall

Although the Bhagsunath Temple was closed but the falls could be visited by tourists. I was busy with the different shop visiting. But my team went for the waterfall .According to them, the falls was not so prominent because it was winter. During rainy season the falls looked more beautiful.

                             But let me tell you, I enjoyed a lot with my shopping. I went from one shop to other discovering many beautiful things. There were some herbs which were typically found in that place. I picked up some dried Amla which was unique to taste. I also bought the local jewelry , woollen scarfs and I ran short of money at a point . 

                                                       I went to a local ATM  and collected money and carried on with the lovely shopping. The price of the item are reasonable except for some things you need to bargain. There was a shop which kept things from around the world. I picked up a lovely key bag from that shop and a couple of mesmerising incense stick packets. The ambience I found here was truly awesome.
