I always wished to write my thoughts in a piece of paper .When I learned how to read and write, the very first thing that I enjoyed doing was to write down my daily happenings in a small diary. The best gift for me was always a diary and a pen which I used to get from my father every year. I never asked my father to give me a pen and a diary, but my father never failed to give me those two most beautiful things every year. Even now that I got married ,my father keeps gifting me with a diary and a pen every year. I was an introvert kind of a person in my childhood. I never liked to express my feelings to anybody whatsoever.I always used to pen down my thoughts on a piece of paper which later took the shape of a diary. I had a strange habit of getting rid of my old diaries whenever, a new year came knocking at the door .I used to forget my old diary and used to busy myself writing the new one. Even now, I have my last year's diary, which is full of thoughts of pains and happiness. I like to read them occasionally but I know I will soon forget it and start afresh!!!!!!!
My diary is my best nonliving friend. I call it non living but it keeps me alive in some ways .When I read my diary after writing for some days ,I realise how my mind react to certain situations. I can't understand my faults and its my diary which keeps on correcting my attitude towards life. I write my feelings in my diary almost regularly ,but I am not that regular with my friends .I hardly disclose my thoughts to my friends or relatives. My diary holds my secrets, my mischieves ,my rights, my wrongs ,my sadness ,my happiness and almost everything that my heart needs to share . So that is the reason I call my diary, my best friend .I don't know how many people feel the same way as I do ,about a diary; but if somebody needs a polite and trustworthy friend in life ,you can think of a diary........!!!!
I have got the best response and friendship from the most unreal friend that could exist. But trust me …it is no less than a good partner…!!
