I don't understand why is this happening all around the world? Newspaper is flooded by so many rape cases, exploitation of woman rights day-to-day basis. Now I have read the news about an Assam girl being raped by her professor. The assistant professor of Bengtol college Assam was arrested when he was apprehended with assault and rape charges. A 14 years old girl texted one of her friend stating that she has been raped and assaulted by her professor and later she killed herself as she was disturbed…said by police. The assistant professor has been arrested by police at who's the house the girl was staying for around a year for study purpose.

The police in a statement said that the girl was found hanging on Monday but the matter was not cognizant to the authorities.

The teacher and her family were forcefully trying to do the last rites without informing the police, after getting tip-off police arrived at the scene and stopped the teacher and his family and sent the body for post mortem.

During the investigation, it was found that the victim in her text messages wrote that she doesn't want to live and so she is suiciding. 

The accused professor is under 3 days of police custody by a local court. Professor was also booked for disappearing the evidence under the POSCO Act (protection of the child from sexual offences).

I think the reason behind all this crime is the internet where sexual content is easily available to everyone. The government should take stringent action against this kind of culprits to to create an example in front of every criminal that they would think twice before doing such a heinous crime. we as a society should concern for each other because we must protect each other, take care by visiting a college student who is staying in pg and other facilities. police have to stay vigilant to avoid such incidents in future. They should take precautionary measures for girls safety and security. many times people are afraid of lodging a complaint to the police because they are afraid of investigation so our police have to create a positive image by fully cooperating with public in order to get rid of these crime as early as possible. police should give money or any gift in reward to those who stand against crime so as to motivate citizens.
