1993-2010:
Early Life
Min Yoon-gi was born on March 9, 1993, in Daegu, South Korea, the son of two sons. [6][7] He attended Taejeon Elementary School, Gwaneum Middle School, and Apgujeong High School. He became interested in rapping after hearing "Reggae Muffin" by Stony Skunk, saying it was unlike anything he'd heard before. After listening to Epik High, he decided to become a rapper.
At the age of 13, he started writing lyrics and discovered MIDI. He worked part-time in a recording studio when he was 17 years old. Since then, he has started composing and arranging music, rapping and performing. Before being signed, he was active as Gloss as an underground rapper. As a member of hip hop group D-Town in 2010, he produced "518-062", a song commemorating the Gwangju uprising.

Suga releases 'Interlude:
Shadow' comeback trailer in 2020. Members j-hope and RM. He debuted as a member of BTS on Mnet's M Countdown with the track "No More Dream" from their debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool. He has produced and written lyrics for many of the songs on all of BTS's albums.
For BTS' third Korean mini-album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1, Suga released a solo trailer titled "Intro:
The Most Beautiful Moment in Life". The rap song's lyrics themselves evoke the fear of reaching adulthood in late adolescence. It was released on April 17, 2015 and features an animated music video. Pt.1's next mini-album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.2, features another intro performed by Suga, titled "Intro:
Never Mind", which specifically recounts his teenage years by Suga. The song was released on November 15, 2015, and is also the intro to BTS' 2016 compilation album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life:
Young Forever. Suga didn't perform another intro track for BTS until 2020, where he released "Interlude:
Shadow" as part of an album showcase for Map of the Soul:
7. The interlude is a part rap song related to "Intro:
O! RUL8.2?" from the 2013 EP of the same name, and discusses BTS's popularity, comparing its reality to O! RUL8,2? dream. The song was released on January 10, accompanied by a music video that also deals with the struggles for fame. Billboard's Tamar Herman has described it as a "sexy but not-so-good song" and noted how the song's sound changes midway to show "the dichotomy between celebrity and celebrity relationships." the audience is watching how it affects their idea of self."
In addition to performing the intro for BTS, SUGA has released two solo songs under the group's name. First, the song titled "First Love," which appeared on BTS' 2016 studio album Wings, is an autobiographical rap reminiscent of a monologue. On the 2018 compilation album Love Yourself:
Answer, SUGA released the song "Trivia 轉:
Seesaw", which talks about the volatile nature of love. That same year, SUGA was awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Cultural Medal by the President of Korea as a member of BTS along with other band members.
