conceived at Thiruvanathapuram on July 13, 1990. He is the grandson of well-known Tamil film industry producer K. Balaji and the son of actor Mohanlal and Suchitra Balaji. Vismaya Mohanlal, his sister, works as an assistant director and novelist in the Malayalam film industry. 

Indian singer and actor Pranav Mohanlal makes appearances in Malayalam movies. He is renowned for his greatest films, including Hridayam, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, Adhi, and Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu. He is the son of the renowned actor Mohanlal. Professional Life In 2002, Pranav Mohanlal started his acting career as a young performer. 'Onnaman,' a film directed by Thampi Kannanthanam and starring Remya Krishna, Biju Menon, and his father Mohanlal, marked his film debut. Following that, he starred in the lead role of Major Ravi's 2003 film "Punarjani." He got the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist that year for his well-received performance as a young artist in the movie.  

Following a lengthy break, the actor returns to the industry in 2009 with the action thriller 'Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded'. He had a cameo appearance in the film and thereafter worked with director Jeethu Joseph on films like Papansam and Life of Josutty in 2015. In 2016, the actor made his debut with the 2008 film 'Aadhi'. Jithu Joseph directed and Antony Perumbavoor produced the film, which featured him as the hero. The actor who played the film's action scenes enthralled the audience with his exceptional performance. It was commercial.

The next year, he appeared in the box office bomb Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu, and then in the film Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham, where he played the younger version of his father. The film was directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal, Arjun Sarja, Rohit Shetty, and Manju Warrier in leading roles. However, the picture was declared a commercial flop. 

Having seen two box office setbacks, Pranav starred in Vineeth Srinivasan's romance drama 'Hridayam' in 2022. In the principal female parts were actors Dharshana Rajendran and Kalyani Priyadarshan. After receiving positive reviews from critics, the movie went on to become a huge smash. Globally, it garnered a gross collection over ₹50 crores. Pranav is a singer and songwriter in addition to an actor. In the 2018 motion picture "Aadhi," he composed, sung, and performed the song “Gypsy Woman.”
