If you think of Madhavan as being associated with romantic romance and the like, Yaavarum Nalam completely flips this on its head. The film is a stylish and unconventional thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat and probably will frighten you the next time you watch your favourite sitcom. It's really uncommon to witness a movie that's not only sensible and well-acted, but also has a deliciously exciting thriller whodunit tag. And that's exactly what you get in Vikram K. Kumar's debut film, Yaavarum Nalam (Everyone's okay), the first Tamil film from Big Picture, which also stars R. Madhavan and is intriguingly creepy.

The typical Tamil moviegoer has learned the hard way that thrillers and whodunits aren't exactly our filmmakers' strong suits; the inclination to overburden the script with unneeded songs, comedy tracks, and half-baked nonsequiturs is excessive, and it frequently leads to the failure of the production. 

Yavarum Nalam: A New Perspective on Tamil Film
Yavarum Nalam, which stars Madhavan in the title character, is a genuine thriller that frequently has you on the verge of your seat. a very strong flick.
