Gram Flour Sweet From North Cuisine

Hi guys,

This sweet item popular sweet  from north Indian cuisine. This is make from gram flour and ghee. After that adding sugar get a thick dough. In this dough we make laddoo. This ladoo at eating time melt in your mouth. In north diwali festival it make surely 

I am going to te you very easy recipe and you got delicious more. This method is easy but take some time but you guys after eating feeling very happy. And you think your time not waste that making time.

INGREDIENTS 

  • 4 cup of besan ( 400 gm ).
  • 1 cup of ghee ( 250 gm ). If more need you can add.
  • 2 cup of sugar powder or castor sugar 300gm.
  • 2 tbsp of cardamom powder.
  • 2 to 3 tbsp of golden raisins chopped.
  • 12 to 15 of cashewnut chopped.

METHOD 

Besan Roasting Process

  • Take a thick kadai and add besan, And do dry roast on low flame for 15 min.
  • From starting keep stiring throughly, so that is not burned and cook well.
  • And cook till gram flour smell came out from kadai.

ADD GHEE AND ROASTING MEXT PROCESS 

  • After 15 mins add ghee on it.
  • Mix well and continue cooking the flour for another 15 min stirring continuously.
  • Then this mixture will start non stick from kadai and releasing ghee and also give a nice fragrant. That time ghee float on the top, and ghee and gram flour goes separate boil in this pan. This is the sign of fully cooked our mixture.
  • Then you goes for next step.
  • Then off the flame and remove from gas stove top, keep in side and adding powder sugar.
  • And start to mix with your fully strength in your hand. You should to mix this time rapidly so this sugar melt in mixture and no formed any lumps . That's way you got smooth texture for laddu.
  • Then add cardamom powder, raisins and cashewnut. Mix well.
  • After mixing well, keep aside in room temperature for cool down.
  • Take a steel container.
  • After cool, Now start to make ladoo, you can make small or medium size of ladoo. And keep in that steel container.
  • Now your ladoo is ready.
  • Serve this and garnish with some nuts.

HOW TO STORE FOR LONG TIME 

  • This sweet keep for one month at room temperature. You should to keep in a clean and dry covered jar or a container. Also keep in cool and dry place.
  • You can also keep in refrigerator. But ghee on refrigerating goes keep solid. Or hard. So before eating you should to keep out side for thawing. Then eat.
