Novel corona virus is a type of SARS virus.

Novel Corona  virus  waa first reported in WUHAN, CHINA on December 29th 2019.

Hence it is also known as COVID 19.

 

Since  then this virus is continuously  spreading and is affecting many people.

France, China, USA and many other strong  countries  have been affected badly with this pandemic.

First  case of Covid 19 was reported  in INDIA on 19th february.

It affected crores of people in INDIA.

From 25th march, 2020 INDIA was under complete  lockdown.

Indian  prime minister  shri  Narendra  Damodar Nodi announched the lockdown  on 24th March, 2020 at 8 PM.

The prime ministers hard work with his respected ministers helped India  to control covid 19 cases till October  2020.

The efforts of Indian doctors is indeed commendable. Salute to all the healthcare workes who worked hard with dedication, perseverance to help the countrymen to survive COVID.

INDIA with 135 crore population is a vast country. Any pandemic is very hard to tackle here. Many indians lost their family members, relatives and friends.

There was atleast one mortality in each family. The recovery rate of COVID 19 in india was far better than many other  countries   because  of the brave medical practitioners.

COVID 19 previously occured in Saudi Arabia and it was called as SARS COV. This was controlled  because  of hardworking Saudi government. Later it was named SARS COV.

DIAGNOSIS:

People were tested for COVID 19. The test names are RAPID ANTIGEN and RTPCR( REVERSE TRANSCRIPTASE POLYMERASE  CHAIN REACTION).

The report of Rapid antigen were made available  within  half an hour  of testing, while RTPCR  takes atleast  48 hours to be reported.

XRAY CHEST of the patients helped to diagnose   pulmonary  infections.

MANAGEMENT:

  1. Oxygen saturation of the patients are to be checked every hour.
  2. Anyone with less than 90 p02 should  be given oxygen via mask.
  3.  Antibiotics  like doxycycline,  azithromycin, amoxicillin , erythromycin should be given to the patients to cure infection.
  4. Vitamic c tablets shoule be given namely  limcee or celin which is an antioxidant  and help provide healthy  immune  system. 
  5. Multivitamin  and multiminerals tablets should also be given to help eradicate the weakness and to provide good immunity.
  6. Vitamin  D supplements  should also be giveb for bone health.
  7. Omega3  tablets  help to boost the immune system.

Treatment:

Covid Vaccines help reduce the risk of covid  infections.

Most important covid vaccines in INDIA are BHARAT BIOTECH COVID VACCINE and COVISHIELD.

FACE MASK and social distancing plays an important  role to prevent  covid infection.
