In today's blog I am going to talk about Self Pampering.You might find it as a very common topic but trust me practically its not very common when it comes to self care.How often do we really give that "Me Time" to ourselves?? Our face has always been one of the most looked after part of our body to which we give immense attention. But what about other parts?? Do we give equal justice to rest our body parts?? Most of us don't. We all think that only the superficial appearance needs to be well taken care of which mostly includes our face, hair and hands. Apart from these we rarely bother to even think about nourishing any other parts of our body that often. Isn't it??
Let me tell you friends,each and every part of our body is equally important and we must take out time to pay attention to its care and maintenance.So today I am going to share with you a few simple practices that you can start doing today itself if you really care about your body and respect your body.So here are my easy and simple tips for you all:
Drink a glass of copper charged water.Keep a copper jug filled at night and drink this water the moment you get up from sleep.This naturally purified water has tremendous health benefits.
Start your day with a glass of warm water mixed with 1 tablespoon of organic honey. If you don't want to mix honey in water you can sip it directly and then drink warm water.You can also take a sip of 1 tablespoon of cold pressed virgin coconut oil before drinking this water.
Oil your hair a night before you wash it every time.It not only nourishes your hair but also reduces frizziness and makes it soft.I recommend you to use basic cold pressed virgin coconut oil.It could be of any brand. I personally Iove this oil as its light weight and less greasy and has a quick absorption power compared to other natural oils.You can use it for your skin as well.
Put coconut oil in your belly every night before sleeping.It has tremendous health benefits. You can search on net in details about this and you would be amazed to know the facts.
Soak your feet in warm salt water once a week and scrub it after 10 mins. It will not only help you relax but also keep your feet clean and soft.You may not have to worry about warts and corns after practicing this regularly.
Take a nourishing bath with gram flour(Besan), Turmeric mixed with milk once a week. You can also apply warm sesame oil on your body and massage gently before applying this paste. Do not use soap after this and ensure you dab your skin with towel gently without rubbing it roughly.
Do dry brushing before taking a bath everyday. You can use a towel or a dry brush which you can easily get online.This helps in better blood circulation.
