The current population of India is 1,392,753,410 as of Friday, June 11, 2021, and it is a big amount based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data.

India 2020 population is estimate at 1,380,004,385 people at mid year according to UN data. So in one year it crossing a big number. The total land area is 2,973,190 Km2. The median age in India is 28.4 years. It's growth rate has declined significantly over the pat few decades, attributed to growing urbanization, rising education levels, specially among women, and increasing alleviation of poverty. Its population growth has slowed remarkably over the last few years, it's still growing faster than China and is expected to surpass China in population by 2026, when both will have about 1.46 billion people. After 2030, India is expected to be the most populous country in the world.

Fear is that India expected to reach its peak population of 1.65 billion people by 2060, ager which it will began to decrease.

The overpopulation is a problem that can be solved only with an understanding of the natural environment and its interactions with people. The formation of a national Indian planning commission for population control is viewed as necessary for motivation all people to reduce population size because it is important this time. Man is a part of nature, but not a master of nature. Water-borne diseases occur after flooding and earthquakes any many more.

According to current situations pollution is at high peak level because of population. In India unemployment is also a biggest problem and reason is again population. In my opinion these are two biggest problem due to uncontrolled population.

Due to the advancement in technology, people are living a quality life with better life facilities and are proper working. The survival rates of people are higher than before which is leading to an increase in the population control. With the establishment of proper nursing homes and better services, the childbirth rate is also high in India. One might think that high birth and survival rates symbolize a healthy lifestyle for people and a better place for everyone to live in.

Need for a population control law :

At looking at the causes of population growth, it is evident that the formulation of policies and welfare programs by the government on family family planning and using contraceptive methods to control population will not change the mindset o the people as expected from them, especially in the rural areas.
