End Of Innocence !

I know what you thought and yes you are sort of right, it's a bold statement to say that it is the end of innocence . But, am I wrong? Do you get to witness innocence anymore? Hey, now you can't tell me that you see innocence in the eyes of a new born, that's an exception. Also, if you find babies so cute, tell me you will not shit your pants when you hear a baby crying at 3am in the morning provided you do not have a baby at home. I personally have never found babies cute at all, I mean it in the most genuine and a somewhat warm heart.

Hey you made me drift from what I actually came here to write. Let's get back to it, shall we?

When I say innocence is dead, I mean somethings really specific. I have a 7 year old brother, when I was 7 year old, I had my fair share of play time. I would go out with my friends on my pink bicycle (I used to call her Dhanno), and go to the playground and play badminton or hide and seek or ice and water or kabaddi and many other such outdoor games. The only rule that I had at home was, just when the society lights would get on in the evening, I would need to come back home and complete my homework in time. That was the beauty of my childhood, I hope I brought back some of the memories from your childhood as well. If I did, do let me know in the comment section.

Coming back to what I was writing, I do not see that innocence in my brother, he does not get to say β€œ can I watch TV for 10 extra minutes in the evening?” because he has a phone all the time, and getting a chicken dinner on pubG is way more important than having actual dinner.

Are phones really that important? Shouldn't kids these days have the chance to cherish a childhood that will stay with them forever and ever. They do, right? So, what do we do to make it right? I have no clue about it, If you do, let me know too, because punishing him and shouting at him hasn't really done the trick.

I hope you have fun reading this blog, for reading such article, do like and follow me please, for the sake of the child in you which might have just popped out. So, get yourself a popsicle and let me know in the comment section about articles that you would want me to write.

Love you all for the love and support ❀

Intresting read..Anu I agree innocence is no longer there because exposure is so much...you will agree what you knew at 16 kids today know it at 10...well I guess what can be done is help them understand that whatever they choose they live with results...plus phone should have limited use specially now when everything is online...
