Hormones, happy hormones! They have a big impact on our emotions and general wellbeing.

Both positive and negative things can have an impact on your mood.

It might be enhanced by spending time with a friend or loved one. It can be ruined by sitting in unexpected traffic for an hour. let's take a look at the 4 types of happy hormone ☺️

Dopamine

A neurotransmitter that plays a key role in the reward system of your brain, dopamine is also referred to as the "feel-good" hormone. It is linked to learning, memory, and a host of other pleasant experiences.

Serotonin

This neurotransmitter and hormone aids in mood regulation as well as sleep, hunger, digestion, memory, and learning capacity.

oxytocin

Often referred to as the “love hormone” is necessary for effective breastfeeding, delivery, and the development of strong parent-child bonds. It can also aid in fostering relationship bonding, empathy, and trust. Generally speaking, levels rise with physical affection.

Endorphins

Your body naturally creates these substances in response to stress or discomfort, and they serve as a pain reliever. Levels may also rise when you partake in activities that result in rewards, such eating, exercising, or having sex.

Strategies to boost happy hormone

Laughter

To increase your endorphin levels, turn on your favorite comedic program! Laughter boosts immunity, reduces stress, and uplifts your mood in general. Laughter therapy has been recognized as a cognitive behavioral therapy for treating depression and stress in patients because of its remarkable efficacy.

Gratitude

Gratitude releases feel-good chemicals by stimulating the brain's reward system. Some people write down their blessings in a gratitude notebook every day, while others participate in the "three blessings exercise," which involves meditating on three things each night for which they are thankful.

Recalling Joyful Times

There is a connection in the brain between mood and memory; when combined with the attention-related area, it can cause serotonin to be released. This may occur while you're reminiscing about a joyful, vivid experience or when you're flipping through pictures from an enjoyable family vacation or wedding.

Playing Music

Oxytocin can be released by singing and music listening. Because they are interacting with their band while they improvise, jazz singers have been seen to release higher quantities of oxytocin. In the meantime, a different study found that patients after open heart surgery recovered more quickly when they routinely listened to calming music because the increased levels of oxytocin helped to reduce their levels of pain, tension, and worry.

Engaging in Sexual Activity

During sexual action, endorphins, oxytocin, and dopamine are released. Dopamine is known as the feel-good hormone, and oxytocin as the cuddle hormone. These combine to produce a calming and satisfying sexual sensation.

Don't allow other people's actions ruin your inner harmony.
