Review of Malaikottai Vaaliban: This is the first joint project between Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and the director of Angamaly Diaries, hence anticipation for the film was great before its release. It's imperative that you have an open mind and firmly lay aside expectations when seeing a Lijo Jose Pellissery film. Malaikottai Vaaliban is a film that embodies the unique style for which the Malayalam director is renowned. Plot of Malaikottai Vaaliban
Review of Malaikottai Vaaliban: Mohanlal in a picture from the film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery.
In this historical fantasy film, which was influenced by Gulliver's Travels, Mohanlal plays an elderly warrior or fighter named Malaikottai Vaaliban who travels from village to village competing in battles and collecting home awards. If you can endure a very boring first half, Malaikottai Vaaliban, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, is a really entertaining film with plenty of twists and turns. To his credit, Pellissery provides you with more than enough thrills in the second part of the movie to make up for the initial monotony he permits to set in.

The portrayal of Vaaliban by Mohanlal, who does it with such grace, is one of the film's greatest assets. Mohanlal excels in every scene, whether it's a challenging action scene or an emotional brother-sister scene.
However, the stunt coordinators Vikram Mor and Supreme Sundar deserve a lot of the credit for most of the action scenes as well. They appear to have realized that Mohanlal's declining speed is not his greatest asset, and as a result, they have orchestrated actions that look incredibly realistic on screen.
In addition, Madhu Neelakandan, the cinematographer, deserves recognition for his abundant use of slow motion, which he employed in several key scenes to hide any pauses in action.
In addition to Mohanlal, the roles of Danish Sait as Chamathakan, Sonalee Kulkarni as Rangapattinam Rangarani, and Hareesh Peradi as AyyanarSome of the pictures and ideas in MV will look familiar to anyone who grew up watching a lot of Mohanlal classics, such as Thenmavin Kombathu, Yodha, Guru, or even Abhimanyu. A portion of Prasanth Pillai's outstanding composition even sounds like "Mandaara Cheppundo" from Dasaratham, which makes sense given that the music video features characters who are subsequently revealed to be adopted kids.
Another source of great delight is witnessing LJP's mastery as a magician in his frames (taken by Madhu Neelakandan), some of which may or may not have used matte paintings and miniatures, or perhaps CGI to simulate them. Of course, these are all assumptions. Many frames have an almost obsessive and self-indulgent quality that will undoubtedly be criticized by the "brilliance" teams in Malayalam film groups.Naturally, there's nothing wrong with it, but "great" shots by themselves don't equal a movie. A sequel is hinted at when MV comes to a finish. I just have one query: Why?
