This is a movie based on the  struggles happens in a midclass family of Kerala against women after marriage . Mostly the  women in Kerala  is suffering from the violence of their husband in the name of "dowry" . This film shows how  women can defeat their cruel husband .  The movie  is directed by Vipin Das and stared by Basil joseph and Darshana Rajendran. The movie was released theatrically on 28 October 2022 and released in Disney Hot star on  December 22.

Jaya Bharathi known as Jaya is a degree student . She wanted to study B.Sc. Anthropology in Mar Ivan iOS college, Trivandrum . But her uncle not allowed to send her in Trivandrum and not allowed her to study Anthropology . Then her family got admission in BA Malayalam .  In between her studies her family decided to fix her marriage , when they knew about a toxic relationship between the teacher in the institution and hers. They found a man called Rajesh ,  who had a large poultry farm .

They came to see Jaya and fixed  the marriage in a condition that , they will  allow her to study PSC to fulfil her goals . After the marriage Rajesh  not allowed her to study . He made her to sit in the house  only to take care him.

Rajesh doesn't had any feelings towards Jaya . He was short tempered person . he want a particular food idiyappam and kadala curry for the food . He beats Jaya without any reason . in the night to compromise the situation Rajesh go out with her to a movie and ate dinner from outside. Rajesh tell Jaya to order whatever she likes . When she tell , she want parotta and beef roast Rajesh refuses to buy that and he tell that the chicken curry   is delicious than that of the beef , because the it is supplied by him . 

She decided to adjust all the situation and she learned cooking through YouTube and made delicious food to him . But he thrown away all the food and start to slap her. Then she started to study self defence and one day she kicked him badly . the family of Jaya came  to Raj bhavan to solve the situation . 

Ani the relative of Rajesh told him a idea to make Jaya  pregnant , so will sit in the house and look-after the children.  Jaya got pregnant and she knew  about it   and she lost the baby. All the family started to blame her  . She the left the house and stayed in women's hostel .

During that time the video shouted by Rajesh got viral . He seeked for divorce from Jaya . On the court he knew that Jaya was the one who defected Rajesh in his poultry  business.
