Hey guyz!!!! Hope all are fine and safe. So let’s start with this blog. As the title suggest heaven on earth, it’s a place on our beautiful earth which is not so far away from Mumbai. It is also know as mini Kashmir, cold weather for most of the time of year. So let the suspense reveal its “MAHABLESHWAR”. By far the most beautiful and scenic place in Maharashtra, where you can actually experience snowfall (hailstorm). Recently I visited Mahableshwar ( by following all protocols of travelling) I would like to mention here that Mahableshwar is my native place, I know most of you must be like wow!!! and I am use to this expression.
So my recent visit to Mahableshwar was very memorable and beautiful. As a person I am very fond of natural beauty, which is a very common thing you see when you visit Mahableshwar. The mountains, clouds, greenery and to top it all the fog. Mahableshwar is situated approximately 4500 ft above sea level. It take about 5 and ½ hours drive to reach Mahableshwar from Mumbai. It is the perfect gateway for a weekend. It is one of the closest hill station from Mumbai.
The best time to visit Mahableshwar is in month of December- January and also in rainy season. If you want to enjoy the scenic beauty of mahableshwar then the best time to visit Mahableshwar is in the month of June when it has started to rain (initial days of rainy season). The various points and lakes makes mahableshwar a tourist attraction. There are various famous points to visit in Mahableshwar such as Table point, Echo point, Sunset point, Elephant point and many more. The Veena lake is famous for boating and also for corn tikki and corn sandwich, which is a must thing if you visiting venna lake. There is another famous boating spot which is 23 km from Mahableshwar situated in the place called Tapola, which is also a must place to visit. Among all these places there is also Mapro garden to visit where you can get fresh jellies, strawberry and chikki’s of various flavours. The Mapro garden is the place some what like an amusement park.
