Irudhi pakkam Movie Review
crime fiction is a dying genre of Tamil cinema, but it never goes out of date. Director Mano knows well and he did his movie best to make suspense until the end of the movie.Heroin(Iyal) is a writer. Her writing is very powerful and captures us on the journey. Iyal is the protagonist. she is innocent yet mysterious in her own way.
Iyal was introduced as an independent young woman in her apartment. she looks terribly upset and she notes about the man in her life who doesn't save her. within a few minutes, she was killed by a stranger she put in her apartment. The rest of the plot revolves around who is the killer and what forced this person to take her life.
Initially, the case, investigated by inspector Kumar looks simple as the victim had barely any connection with the outside world. But, as the movie progresses, her ex-boyfriend Prashanth makes a shocking revelation.
The story goes back to the era of seeing the refreshing romance of the Iyal and Prashanth. They meet on a college campus and connect with each other by writing. Prashanth is allowed to read a few pages of her unpublished book and he is falling in love with her. Iyal is a writer who firmly believes that only real stories can have a greater impact than imaginary stories.
This idea of her causes problem in her personal life as she begins to look for new books on eroticism and sex. can an ordinary police officer who does not believe in instinct solve this complicated case?
Both Iyal and Prashanth performed decently, and their performance takes the story to the next level. Prashanth's flashback part is natural. However, the filmmaker seems to have done this intentionally. For instance, the CCTV footage in the apartment itself would have revealed all the characters who first witnessed the murder. But this case was very important to Kumar never thinks of checking it. There was a book called the Last Page that was couriered to him by Iyal, days before her death. Again we can't complain because he's not as efficient as other police officers and he admits that the commission's job came to him because his father died on duty. However, there are some questions that have not yet been answered.
overall, It was a brilliant crime thriller movie.
