As all over the world,Global pride day is celebrated on 27th of june,I got a good opportunity and time to express my view on this topic. A current and the most burning topic other than covid situation in year 2021 is PRIDE FOR LGBTQ.To create awareness for this a  pride month has been celebrated.This month was fully based on making people aware of LGBTQ community and bringing them closer to a social acceptance.This month was made to make people educated about how damaging homophia is and can lead to discrimination and inferiority among these communities. 

LGBTQ stands for Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual ,Transgender and Queer; further added for the people or community who questions their sexuality and their rights to live in society.This community faces fight everyday for their acceptance and to get dignified in the society.

Gender fluidity has been seen from ancient time ;it has evolved in various instances in Hindu mythology.Like, Goddess Mohini who was a female avtar of Vishnu.Whenever Vishnu took the  role of the protector of universe,he always took the feminine form of the divine enchantress Mohini.Other example was Aravan;who was a god for the transgender community.

This pride month is used by the LGBTQ community as a movement to celebrate sexual diversity.It's their way of protesting against discrimination and violence they face.Under this they organize a peaceful parades ,street parties,community events,public speakings and protest against the violences and discrimination.

Article 377 of the Constitution of India which criminialises “homosexuality and unnatural offences ”;which also states that naturally there are only two communities;Men and women and they can only marry and have physical relationship.Further,this law was abolished by Supreme court in India in 2018 and provided them a right to live freely in India.

But they have got right only on a written piece of paper;they are'nt accepted by community and society ,they are always treated as inferior.Many of the people in our society think it's a taboo to talk on this topics.Many of the bills are pending in parliament to allow them to serve openly in Military and Army etc.

This topic has been glorified in cine world also to aware people about this community and their rights ;they have run various campaign too on social networking sites.Many films has been made which were agenda driven for the acceptance of this community like;"My Brother Nikhil","Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa Laga","Love Simon"etc.The people of this community has adopted  their flag of rainbow colour which symbolizes the diversity of this community;also called as gay flag or pride flag.
