Neem has been used to prepare various types of herbs since ancient times. Neem is also known as Indian Lilac.

Neem is used in medicines like Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy etc. Neem prevents all diseases, says the Vedas. It means cures all diseases.

There are many languages spoken in India and hence neem is served under different names in each language, such as: Kadulimb in Marathi, U.P. and Vembu in Bihar, Aru Vepila in Malayalam, Vepilai in Tamil, Vem in Telugu, Limba in Gujarati, Bevu in Kannada, Nimba Pada in Bengali.

Neem has antiseptic and antiviral properties. Also, neem cures the symptoms of many diseases. This is why Neem is also known as tree medicine.

Use of neem in preventing cancer (Neem prevents Cancer)- Neem is very helpful in curing cancer. The Cancer Institute says that neem fruits, seeds, leaves and flowers all help reduce the risk of cervical cancer and prostate cancer.

Reducing lice in hair- The insecticidal properties of neem can easily remove lice and dandruff from hair. Applying neem oil to hair can solve the problem of dandruff.

Benefits of eating neem leaves Consuming neem leaves purifies the blood and helps get rid of harmful viruses.

Uses of Neem in Skin Protection Neem leaves cure all skin related problems and prevent infections.

To treat diabetes Drinking the juice of neem leaves is useful to control diabetes.

Removes Nail infection- Neem leaves have antiseptic and antifungal properties which kill bacteria. Also, cures tonal pharyngitis.

Bathing in neem water (Useful in bathing)- Bathing in boiled water with neem leaves does not cause bacterial infections. Also, skin related problems will go away. Neem can be used as capsules and powder.

Beneficial for Arthritis – Neem is a herbal remedy especially for Rheumatoid Arthritis. It helps reduce joint pain and inflammation.

Removing stomach worms – Due to the bitterness in neem, the bacteria die. Consume 1 or 2 neem leaves twice a day to kill stomach germs.

Neem leaves should be spread on the beds of those suffering from small pox, due to which the insects and bacteria are expelled from the body and the disease is cured quickly.
