Hello everyone!

As the title suggests I hope you all can make a guess so as to what is this blog all about. Presently we are all hitting the monsoon season which means continuous rain day and night. India being one of the tropical climate country, most places get rainfall at almost the same time of the year. 

To put it more explicitly, there is nothing wrong with the rainy season. Well, people living in hot and humid regions feel extremely blessed to receive rainfall. The starting stages of rain makes everyone go dancing with happiness because it gives relief to the scorching heat that the summer season brings along with it. Nothing is as peaceful and satisfying as hearing the rain drops falling to the ground, cold winds blowing with the falling rain. All these gives a reluctant break from the burning heat in many places. 

BUT! Till how long is the satisfaction level of this activity? If the phenomenon of rainfall is so exciting, how exciting is the after effects of the rain? Or so to say how tolerable is the continuous rain fall with all the good and bad views and for how long?

For people living in the plain sides, rain fall can be a total bliss but for the people living in hilly areas , rain fall is a complete frustration after a certain point of time. Yes! Rains do give great relief for once in hot areas, people start enjoying the water fall as to something that is of utmost blessings. But after a while the after effects which is water clogging, humid climate, blocked drains all doesn't make the rains look any good.

I, living in a hilly region know how bad is the after effects of continuous rainfall. In areas where the climate is already cold, continues rain fall for even more than 2 3 days causes severe landslides, tearing off the travelling roads, loss of food crops and many other major problems are faced. We see the worse side of drainage system being blocked which further creates pollution.

Therefore, all people have different views about rainy seasons. To some its enjoyable but to some its not at all pleasurable. But the hard reality is that rainy seasons is a very dangerous phenomenon for most places. The places being near to rivers and streams are almost in constant fear as the water level rises to unbelievable heights. This is a continuous fear for people living in and around these areas.
