One of the basic requirement of an individual for day to day survival is yummy, mouth watering, tasty and appealing food. There are many categories under which we can place different kinds of food for different kinds of people. The most used difference between food is vegetarian food and non vegetarian food. What ever be the category any kind of food be it cooked properly, be it served raw or be it used to decorate any platter, food in any form is appealing.
Today's discussion here would be about a specific category of food which is self sustaining vegetarian food. India is a country with a wide diversity with not only cultures but also great taste of different kinds of food. Here in this blog we can now discuss the most famous foods of different cultures.
To begin with we can first consider the rich, aromatic and specially cooked food from the states of Punjab, Haryana and their neighboring places like Delhi and Rajasthan. The most amazing food found in Punjab include the platter of chola bhatura. Another food includes dal fry which is a famous recipe, butter alu paratha, amritsari kulcha which is made of flour, makki di roti and sarso da saag and many more.
Also some of the famous foods from Haryana and Rajasthan are: rajma chawal, dahi wada chawal, bajra kitcheri.
The abundance of milk and curd in Rajasthan makes it a state of ample recipes dealing in dairy products as main ingredients. Delhi on the other hand has famous foods like: alu puri, veg rolls, chaats, paneer dishes, momos and many more.
They are generally the north Indian food category where spicy food is preferred by one and all.
The next category of food to be discussed could be the south Indian food. South Indian food is mostly termed as the food which is found in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and the surrounding nearby areas. Idli, dosa, sambar wada being the generally famous food of the south, there are many other different kids of food that we get to enjoy in these states. Kerala is also famous for its sweet delicacies among which the most famous one is: palada payasam. Also dishes made of raw banana is famous here. appam with curry is also preferred by many here.
In the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka too there are many famous foods such as kambu rice, upma, bonda, uttapam, rava idli with tomato dal and the list goes on.
