Hey!
Last night a sudden incident happened that leaves me thinking about our society we live in, not those societies in which our houses, but the society of our whole country.
Our neighbors daughter came late last night and all the aunties started questioning her. Her character , her upbringing and what not. It's not like that she is coming from a late night party or anything . She works in a pvt company and after the lockdown there is a work load not for her but for all the employees. She tried to put her point towards them, but no one was listening to her. Her parents are unable to shut there mouths as they are afraid what other's will say, they took her and closed the doors of there house. And those aunties were still gossiping around, laughing around in there high to high pitch.
And i don't know whether that girl was able to sleep or not, but i was not able to concentrate on my studies. Today when she was off to her work, they were still whispering into each other.
Few weeks ago when a boy came, even more late in the night… . No one, no one questioned him. Even though, those aunties were still there hanging on there balcony. And cherry on the top is they were like.. “ He is a boy, c'mon. It's ok ”.
After last night incident, today all the teenage or young ones were all in the favor of that girl . They were saying “what to do, we live in this type of society where boys are always on the top ”. None of them took stand for that girl but they are blaming the society… wow.
My question is, Who make this society? After all we are the ones who make the society . If you are not able to stand strong, if you can't say what is wrong and what is right, then how can we blame the society ? And if we are blaming the society that means we are blaming ourselves isn't it? And if you are blaming yourself then why can't you stop this blame game by just taking stand for right.
We are all the educated person who blames the society, an educated person never blames it. If we are educated then why can't we question it? What are we lacking in?
It's just the single incident… . There are a lot more incident in which we didn't do anything even we don't even say what is right or wrong. And we just start blaming think about it, if each one of us will question about it, if we will take stand for what is right. The society will get cleaned automatically. And then we don't have to do this blame game.
Think about it , we are ones who can bring a change in the whole society by just taking some initial and small steps. I hope I gave you a topic to think about it. So just think….. But don't overthink it's makes things unnecessarily complicated.
