Think for yourself: challenge the existing ideas. 

To make the decision which is best for you you have to be able to think for yourself. No matter how sacred the idea is that to choose whether to accept it or not. The gift of Independent human thought can conquer many of a defects. Understanding and overcoming fear of rejection. If you let your feeling the inferiority scare you from thinking freely, then again you will be silenced even though you may have the most productive mind in the world. You either cannot or will not think for yourself this is an aspect of your self neglect which you can readily overcome if you apply yourself to it. What is usually the outcome of disagreeing with those we are close to? Are we always rejected? Are we always fired from a job? Are we always expelled from school? Hardly. As a matter of fact and observation has it that those people who think the most originally are usually the most respected. They are instantly seen as bright people who have leadership qualities and who can add some things to a situation rather than simply reflect the prevailing attitudes. 

Become smart about life: remain smart about life

Life is not fair and if you want a reasonable amount of fulfillment then you have to observe the way the world actually runs. Do not live by myths and superstitions. Do not neglect Yourself by hitting both your inadequacies and yourself when you aren't able to do something beyond your natural gifts. It Advises to follow the wisdom of Shakespeare when he suggests that our fate is not in our stars but in ourselves. 

Examine your thought processes: avoid fanatical thinking. Self immolation may be the ultimate sacrifice but it is also Supreme act of negligence. All the bad things that happen to us are in fact for the good. Stay away from Cult behaviour. Get rid of naive attitude. Feel good about wealth: use it sensibly. 

Control yourself: don't make a bad situation worse. 

Our emotional reactions are not determined by frustrations, ur thoughts determine our feelings, are frustrations themselves don't. If you think sensibly , logically and rationally you will be annoyed, impatient and irritable perhaps but you won't be depressed, angry or jealous. Be healthy, be self caring, be good to yourself. Get rid of irrational ideas.

Control your anger. Overcome your fears. It is more important to do than to do well. Learn from your mistakes. Reward yourself constantly. React rationally not emotionally. Break a big task into small ones. 

Overcoming depression

Depression seems to be caused by three irrational attitude :

self-hate, self-pity, other-pity. Don't feel hurt because your greatest efforts are frequently left and appreciated. Don't feel sorry for yourself; you don't have to have all you want just because you think you deserve it. Never hate yourself because you have a right to be imperfect.
