In this ever changing world which comes with so many innovations and state of art technologies every day, jobs are becoming monotonous. Do we really work up to the quote “earn to live”.
In much deeper terms, the harsh reality remains that most of us collateralize our invaluable life for the sake of money, the fact remains the same even if you are to end up on the dream job of yours. Even though at times the feeling of being top among the society creeps in, we fail to realize the heavy cost we pay to achieve this short lived gain.
The earning in these jobs makes one to think that they are living happily, but the harsh reality being you are being admitted to the hospital of “compromising lives at the cost of earning”.
Your minds and souls knowingly or unknowingly would be pushed to think about the job you do everyday. Has there ever been an instance when you had felt like you are living happily with family & friends..without office thoughts in the hindsight??
Family & Friends can ever be replaced unlike the work and money, cherishing moments and occasions with dear and near ones are intangible assets of life one could ever get, getting to miss those is nothing short of madness.
Street side Vendors, Daily labors, Sales representatives, Software engineers, Bank professional, Sports personalities, every one of them run to not only make ends meets, but also to earn more in the light of future. However, not many of them really understands the value of being together, spending quality times with dear ones. Those who understand this is much more happier and fulfilled in their daily lives.
Meaning of happy living doesn’t mean to shore money at all possible avenues, more importantly this means spending money when required the most, it could be anything but not limited to..
After all,
Car can be bought but not driving.. Food can be bought but not hunger.. Mattress can be bought but not Sleep..
Money can be earned but not life..
Think through..
“Earn to Live, don’t Live to earn” – Happy Living 🙂
