Hi everyone!! Today I will bec talking about a really important issue in our society that everyone faces in their student lives. Some are able to tackle it but some are crushed by it. Today I will be talking about the importance of a student's freewill or a child 's freewill that according to some parents doesn't even exists. In my school years I had seen many classmates of mine who suffered because of their parents, now we all know that our parents love us but sometimes the pressure that they put on us can be really dangerous. I had a friend who was really good at drawing but her father wanted her to become an IAS officer but she couldn't get good marks in many exams and was always tensed because of her father who would buy her new books every week or month. When I asked her βare you sure you want to be an IAS? β She replied βI would have said yes if you asked I wanted to be an artist or not. β And then she had to take science in 11th.I felt really bad for her and feel bad to this day because now we have lost a talent forever if she was free she could represent our country at world level but now she has to fulfill what her father says. I have several examples of students who are pursuing something due to their parents but they are always tensed and not at all happy. Our parents are our well wishers but that doesn't mean that they have to decide our life. Some parents want to fulfill their dreams through their children which they couldn't achieve this is just sheer injustice done to a child. It must be remembered that children come through parents not for parents, (I read this line in wings of fire, it was spoken by Mr. Kalam's father to his mother) . For some parents only being an Doctar, engineer or lawyer is everything or else you are a failure but they themselves are not in this profession so aren't they too failures?? Some parents shatter their child's dream just because of their reputation like what will people say if my son/daughter pursues music and fails, even if the child faces failure then also at least he should be given a chance to pursue whatever he wants. And what shall I say about girls there future is already decided they are not even allowed to fail, not even try if a girl fails just once she is married off.
My parents don't force me to pursue anything even if they do i refuse to do so because I have my own dream.
But I have seen many people suffering so I wanted to voice my opinion on it.
