Hello friends I am really sorry that I couldn't write blogs this week as I was too busy with some work. But, since I am back today we will again start a series of blog on a particular topic just like the last week where we focused on the topic entrepreneurship, it's meaning, contribution to society, growth and attributes. This week we will be talking about a different as well as beneficial topic which will increase some knowledge in your knowledge bank, and the topic is green skills. I know many of you must have heard it for the first time as it is very less talked about. Hence, I will try to give as much information as I can. So, without any further due let's jump right into the topic.

Let's go

Green skill is a set of skill and knowledge which is required to live in an environmentally concious way while dealing with the climate change. These skills are a combination of various tech, soft and hard skills and knowledge, values and attitude which are needed to develop a environmentally conscious workforce which initiates and supports substantial social, economical and environmental changes in business, industry, society and community. These skills are needed in feilds of renewable energy or energy which can used over and over again or in other words which can be renewed. Renewable energies are energies like solar energy or wind energy , basically obtained from natural resources. Green skills also include skills like waste management and waste treatment like sewer management and resource management like water management, rainwater harvesting etc. It also deals with energy preservation, pollution control and green construction etc. These skills can be acquired without a degree Or a certificate what is needed is just knowledge about environment and how we can preserve it. One should know the importance and status of resources before exploiting them. By status, I mean whether they are scarce or ubiquitous. If resources are scare then they need to be used conciously and there wastage should be avoided at any cost. This knowledge is often imparted to students in schools in subjects like Geography and Environment studies(EVS) but there application is not taught to them which is a must , because these children can contribute magnificently in sustainable development. I hope you learnt something from this post. In the next one we will talk about green economy . Thank you❤❤.
