Entering college can be exciting as well as overwhelming. It is a whole new world for students, but something very good about it is that you get a lot of exposure and learn new things because you get enough time to work on yourself and nothing can be as good as investing in yourself. So, let’s jump right into it and know the top 5 things that you must do when you enter your college.
Many interesting activities are held in colleges like cultural fests, inter-college competitions, etc. You can join many different clubs and societies too. This will contribute to your personality development and networking. You can explore and participate in new things like singing, dancing, debating, etc.
2.Be interactive
A college is a place where you make friends for a lifetime and these connections can help you further in the future if you interact with different kinds of people you will be able to
learn from them.
3.Books and notebooks
Many students buy new books every year instead I will recommend that you either borrow them from your seniors, library, or study from online pdfs. If you don’t have access to any of the above then you can surely buy them. For notebooks, I would say you can maintain 2 in one or 5 in one notebooks or one single notebook for all subjects because now you don’t have to give notebooks for submissions but study for yourself.
4.Learning
Try to learn things other than your college curriculum because nowadays skills and knowledge are given more preference than percentages. You should thrive to improve yourself and your personality. You can learn tons of things online for free on you tube or you can take certificate courses on Udemy, Coursera, etc.
5.Be unique
Instead of copying what others do or what others say try to do what your heart wants because everyone is made different and try to pursue what you like instead of doing what others are doing.
