I start my day thinking about my loved ones. My skin type is combination that is my T-zone is oily and my cheeks are normal to dry, and my skin condition is dehydrated.
The first step I do in my skincare routine is to use a gentle morning cleanser to get rid of the last night facial oils and serums. I prefer using the the Neutrogena extra gentle cleanser it is fragrance free and has a pH of 5.5. It is recommended not to use any chemical exfoliating cleanser in the morning.
Then I follow up with a toner, I like using the rovictin toner it contains five different types to hyaluronic acid which helps in soothing the skin and provides boost og hydration. I also like using the klaris unscented toner.
The next step is a serum and for serum I like using the MINIMALIST 10% vitamin c serum, as it has antioxidants which helps in fighting free radical. And I have a bit of acne scars so it helps to get rid of pigmentation. It is fragrance and essential oil free. It's main ingredient is aloevera juice if you are allergic to it please skip it. It contains ethyl ascorbic acid as a vitamin c derivative which is potent but stable at the same time. The brand sells these vitamin c in a dark colour glass bottle to prevent oxidation. You can also try the klaris vitamin c . It's a bit oily but skin into the skin if you rub it efficiently. But it does contains fragrance and is a bit expensive but effective and comes in a 35ml glass dropper bottle.
You can use any serum according to your skin's need and your personal preference.
The next step is moisturiser , for moisturiser I like to keep it light because I go over board with sun protection. I like using the etude house Soong Yung emulsion. It's light weight having a Creamy texture and provides intense hydration to the skin and keeps the skin soft and supple. It has panthenol and allaintoin as super ingredients which helps to calm the skin.
The last step is to use a sun screen, you should never skip your sun protection no matter what. I like using the isntree hyaluronic acid sunscreen it's a chemical sunscreen free from fragrance and essential oils and has passed the sunscreen testing too. It has a SPF of 50 pa ++++ , which I think is great for protecting our skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. I follow the three finger rule for my sunscreen . And I reapply it using a flat sponge after two to three hours in a dab dab motion.
Finally I use a lip balm to keep my lips hydrated through out the day.
That's all for today I hope you find this blog to be helpful.
