Hii everyone!! Today I will be sharing some important interview skills that everyone should have because if you closely notice then you will find that most people have a good knowledge about the work position they apply for but fail the interview.  An interview is like a formal conversation between the employer and the candidate, where the employer checks the suitability of the applicant for the job position. Interviews are a great opportunities for employers which help them to decide that how well a candidate's skill match the needs of organization.

So, without talking any further, I will just quickly share some DOs and DON'Ts for an interview.

DOs

1.Dressing : You must dress appropriately and formal. There is no need to wear anything that's too fancy or too casual. From head to toe everything about you is being noticed so be careful.

2.Punctuality : If you don't know the venue then try to visit the place one day before interview and on the day of interview try to reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the interview starts.

3.Practise: Some questions are very common and are asked in almost every interview. So, you can form a list of these questions and practice them  to look more confident in your interview.

4. Carry all the important documents required for their reference.

5.Listen properly : Try to listen the question silently and patiently and then answer. Try to clear all doubts about the question if you have any before answering. Try to maintain a good eye-contact while answering.

DON'T's

1.Don't dress casually .

2.Don't make any remarks about past employers.

3. Don't play with any  object like a pen or your hair.

4.Don't lie about your skills and experience.

5.In case you don't know the answer don't be anxious. Just politely tell them to ask another question.

6. Don't ask about salaries and perks unless they ask.

So, these were some skills that you must practice before an interview to look more calm and confident on the day of actual interview. You can ask your friends or family members  to play as panelists and take a mock interview or you can practice in front of the mirror .
