Once two poor friends go to a Seth asking for work. The miserly Seth immediately hires them and promises to give 12-12 gold coins to both of them at the end of the year if they work for the whole year. Both the friends agree to Seth and work hard for the whole year. Doing all the work by running and obeying Seth's every order. In this way the whole year passed. Both go to Seth to ask for 12-12 gold coins. But Seth says that the last day of the year is not over yet and I have to get three more works done by both of you today.

Both were surprised, but what could they do? Seth started telling three things. First task: Put the big jug in the small jug and show it. Second task: Dry the wet grain lying in the shop without taking it out. Third task: Tell me the exact weight of my head. They both said to Seth, "It is impossible." Seth's trick worked and he said, "Okay then get out of here. Because of not being able to do these three things, I am cutting four gold coins for each work.”

Depressed by this deceit of the deceitful Seth, both the friends start leaving with a heavy heart. They meet a clever pundit on the way. Seeing such faces, the pandit asks him the reason for his sadness and after understanding the whole thing, sends him back to Seth. Both of them go to Seth and they say, “Seth ji is still half a day left, we will do all three of your works.”

Seth was shocked and wondered what would happen to him. All three of them go to the shop. Both the friends start their work. He breaks the big jug into pieces and puts them inside the small jug. Seth remains grieved, but is unable to do anything. After this, both of them spread the wet grains inside the shop, so Seth asks how will it dry by spreading it? For this it needs sunlight and air.

Saying "go see" both the friends get up and go ahead and break the wall and roof of the shop, so that both wind and sunlight start coming there. Seth and his men keep watching the angry friends but no one dares to stop them.

Now the last task is left. Both the friends stand in front of Seth with swords and say, “Master, to weigh the exact weight of your head, it has to be separated from the trunk. Please stand still without moving." Now Seth understands that he cannot kill the rights of the poor like this and without hesitation he gives 12-12 gold coins to both of them.
