Hi everyone!! From what I have observed I am not 100 percent sure but I can say that most of the people in our candlemonk community are students. So, today I have come up with a new topic where I will compare self study and coaching classes. This can help you decide which among the two is best for you. So let's begin. 

When I was in class 9 the syllabus got a little tough, as a result most of my classmates started going to expensive coachings but I chose to study by myself. When I used to talk to them they I got to know that after giving 6 -8 hours in school, they have to give 3- 4 hours in coachings too which makes them so tired that they were unable to revise anything and ended up scoring less in exams. They used to get scolded by their parents because after all their parents had to spend huge amounts in both school and coachings. Now, I felt really good because my decision of not going coaching was fruitful to me. I had no extra pressure and I could study consistently the best part was that I could make my own time table and give time to other activities too. At the time of final result, I scored really well much more higher than those students. This thing again repeated in class 10 . 

In 11th and 12th I couldn't go to school because of lockdown but still I didn't took any online coachings and scored very well in 11th while 12th results are yet to come. 

So, this was my personal experience and I found self study more useful than coachings. 

In a nutshell I would say you have to choose whether you want to have a rigid time table or flexible time table.  But, I am not totally against coachings if it works for you then you can join them because after all if you want to enter IIT's Or do CA then most of you will need it.
