‘Heritage and Fame’, these two words best describes “Tiffany & Co” or you can also call them “Tiffany's”. Tiffany & Co. is an American luxury jewelry retailer headquartered in New York City. It is famous for its diamond and fine jewelry, sterling silver, fragrances and stationary.
What started as a stationary emporium in 1837 in Connecticut, soon became one of the most sought after brand in the world. The humble stationary and fancy goods emporium was founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B Young in Brooklyn Connecticut in 1837. The two founding men set out to create a store that provided goods to the un-marketed community. Originally, the emporium was named ‘Tiffany, Young & Ellis’. However, during 1853 Charles Tiffany took sole control of the store which lead to the name shortened to ‘Tiffany And Company’. The store began focusing its emphasis on fine jewelry, cementing the foundations for the mega brand we know today as Tiffany And Co.

As of May 2017, Tiffany & Co. was worth $11.6 Billion and when estimated recently i.e., for the week 53 of the year 2020, it came out to be $15.987 Billion. If you dig in deep in Tiffany's history, craftsmanship and reputation its very easy to see why they make so much money. As of January 2007, there were 64 Tiffany stores in the US and 103 in other countries. Tiffany & Co. is placed at number 1602 on the Forbes Global 2000 list. • Pantone 1837 is the colour we see on Tiffany's packaging and jewelry boxes. This colour is trademarked and copyrighted by Tiffany's and is now called Tiffany Blue.
