The Truth About Your Ego.

Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in good health and are having a blast of a day.πŸ’—

Today, we will be talking a bit about an emotion called EGO. Everyone has this feeling, some are frustrated about it and some would enjoy being egotistical. Your ego is all in your couscous mind. It is the part of your identity that you could call your β€œself”.  When you say someone has a β€œbig ego”, that means that they are too full of themselves.

By being egotistical, you are unable to see someone else's perspective. But being a narcissistic, you may see other's point of view but you won't care about it.

But some healthy doses of ego can feed your willpower. An ego / attitude can also help you stay resilient when things go wrong. When applied properly, your ego can be the reason for you to grow.

And why it can be bad??

One of the most cruel reasons for ego to being bad is that it keeps tou apart from the reality. That ego is what prevents you from tolerating critical feedback which might turn out to be necessary for your growth. That makes you over confident on yourself and under estimate the effort and skill needed to achieve your goal.

A lot of the time, when you are about to do something great, there is always that voice in the back of your mind. β€œDon't do it” it says β€œ you are not really good enough, you will never be able to do that". Now silence these voices with action. Every self limiting  it speaks, prove it with your actions. Everything starting with sticking to a healthy diet to changing the whole world. The more you prove this voice wrong, the quieter it will get. You will fail and you will mess up on your journey. But how can you shut that voice and get on the road back again? That's what matters more than anything.

Ego is neither good nor bad, it is just a result of lack of self awareness. It fades away as you become aware of it, since ego and awareness can not co-exist.

So that is all for today's blog, guys. I hope you found that informative and helpful.
