The Border disputes between these two states are running from many decades but it started getting more intense in October 2020. The Mizoram accused Assam that it has invade in its boundaries, and Assam in return accused Mizoram villagers of invading in it's forest land. This is the main reason of dispute between the two states.
The chief minister of both the states Assam and Mizoram want to clear all the disputes and again form peace. This dispute has led to the loss of many life's. As on twenty sixth of July the police man's of both the states done firing and between this six Assam policeman and one local person lost their lives while 60 others got injured. In this the Assam say that firing was done from only Mizoram side and Mizoram claims that they only reacted to the Assam aggressive behaviour.
The Mizoram chief minister twitted on twitter that he had talk on the call to with the another state chief minister and said that they both are ready to solve the disputes in the proper manner without any riot. He also tell the people to of his state to not post any thing related to the border dispute at any social media platform to avoid any misconduct. He also retweet the Assam's chief minister tweet in which he said “ it is not right what happened between both the states, we have to keep northeast spirit Alive, the peope of both the states not like all such disputes.” This disputes can only solved by discussing about this dispute through discussion between both states.
Both the chief ministers of the government would plea to the supreme court for the solution of the boundary dispute between Both the States.
The Union Government will take the help of satellite mapping to resolve this border dispute between the Assam and Mizoram y observing the things between the state's.
As both the states have taken the step forward to resolve the disputes and talk n discuss with each other about dispute and resolve all the problems and again provoking the northeast spirit.
