               Ingredients needed
Karimeen - 2
For marination:-
Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
turmeric powder - ½tablespoon
salt - ½ tablespoon
lemon juice - 1tablespoon
For masala:
Chopped shallots - 15
chopped onion - 2
chopped tomato - 1
green chilli - 3
coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
turmeric powder - ¼ tablespoon
pepper powder - 1 tablespoon
coriander leaves
ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Garam Masala - ½ tablespoon
coconut milk - ½ cup
salt
lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
oil
After cleaning the fish, stripe it with a knife.
The first step is to fry the fish. For this, add the quantities of turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and lemon juice as mentioned for marination. You can use salt for your choice. You can also use chili powder depending upon the spicy you need. Mix it well after adding lemon juice and leave it for 15 minutes.
For frying this marinated fish, pour 3 tablespoon of oil in pan. Put the marinated fish to the hot oil in the vessel.Use medium flame for 5 minutes for frying this fish.
👉Note that we only need light fried fish.
Fry both sides of fish. When it is ready take the fish out from the vessel.Same oil can be used for making its masala. For this add the chopped shallots to oil and saute well. Add  chopped onion and saute. Let the mixer become a light brown colour.
Then add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and chopped tomato to the vessel. Saute the mixture well, cover the vessel and cook for 1 minute well. After, smash the tomato well. Then add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix it well. Now keep the flame low and saute the masala well. Then add coconut milk to the mixture. Pour some salt and pepper. Mix it well for good taste. Then wilt the masala for some seconds and add lemon juice and coriander leaves. We don't need to wilt the masala well.Leave a small gravy for burning the fish.
Take a fresh piece of broiled plantain tree leaf. Spread the ladle of masala in the leaf and place the fish over it.Then cover the fish with rest of masala.
👉Note that spread the fish with masala all over it.
Wrap the fish and masala with boiled leaf. Take a clay pot/iron port/gry pan and heat well. Place the wrapped fish over it, cover it and allow it on low flame for 5 minutes.Clay pot is best for cooking this recipe. It provides a good taste. If you not have a clay pot you can use iron pot or fry pan.If one side is ready open the lid and cook other side too. You can spread oil to this, if you need. Now your Karimeen Pollichath is ready.Serve it hot.
